Known Issues

Incorrect Polarity Markings

ASUS has marked the capacitor polarity opposite of industry standard: the white semicircle on this board is the positive side, not the negative side! Do not match up the negative stripe of the capacitor to the positive marked side of the motherboard!

Capacitor Replacement Notes

Due to the incorrect polarity markings you need to pay special attention when installing new capacitors to put them in matching the original orientations, not how the board is marked. Take plenty of photos before removing the originals as a guide and reminder to help with this.
