Devices in this category have manufacturing defects that are not obvious when working on them. You need to reference externally verified sources that demonstrate the device must be repaired in ways that are counter to what may seem correct.

An example of an incorrectly silk screened motherboard. Note the negative stripe on the capacitor does not match the silkscreen of what should be the negative silk screening on the motherboard

Wanted: I have heard that ASUS in particular was infamous for marking the silkscreen for capacitors backwards on some motherboards. An example of that would be informative to have here.
