Disk not spinning

Causes

  • Magnetic hall sensors failsure
    • Test by removing motor assembly, directly powering, and nudge motor to start spinning

Solutions

  • Replace hall THS103A sensors

Cracked D10 Diode

Causes

  • Bent flat when reassembled and crushed by screw post

Solutions

  • Replace diode

Disassembly Notes

Diode D10 next to one of the screw holes on logic board is very easily pinched when reassembling and may be cracked. Be sure to bend it upright before putting PCB back onto chassis
