The SuperStride 740 is a Mororola 68030 based system manufactured by Millenium Computer Corperation in Reno Nevada. This system was also manufactured as the Stride 740 and Shannon 5000.

- Desolder original batteries and thourougly clean leakage off of any components that may be affected.
Disassembly Notes
Access is gained via 4 screws that are located on the bottom corners of the case. Once the 4 screws are removed, the top cover is slid upwards to reveal the main board, SCSI HDD and serial I/0 daughter cards. The main board and main board tray must be removed to access the power supply, tape drive, and 5-1/4" floppy drive. WARNING: The main board and serial I/0 cards must be seperated from the main board tray before removal. Attempting to gain access to the components behind the main board without doing this could damage the RJ45 serial ports, as well as the large pin connectors for the I/0 cards themselves.
