I recommend adding a subheading for a list (or maybe table?) of tools in the template to encourage the documentation of this for all devices after realizing in the NEC laptop page a 5 mm hex socket driver is not something most people have. I think that could be a good candidate for an additional/advanced sections page users could pull more sections from to add. I'm trying to keep this preload template focused on the most common things that most people will likely need so they don't have to delete that many sections they don't know yet. Also, the shorter it is, the less overwhelming it will feel for new contributors as well. For things like wrench sockets the size is fairly well documented but I imagine a lot of people don't realize there are size ratings for things like a Philips driver and they will leave it blank or delete it. But I would be happy to cater to the cases where it matters with the option to add that section.
I feel like a table would probably be better, possibly like this:
===Tools Needed===
{| class="wikitable"
|+
Fastener Drivers
! Fastener Types
! Sizes
! Notes
|-
| Phillips
| #2
| Recessed screws require thin driver shaft
|}

I recommend adding a subheading for a list (or maybe table?) of tools in the template to encourage the documentation of this for all devices after realizing in the NEC laptop page a 5 mm hex socket driver is not something most people have. WizardTim (talk) 03:54, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
