Würth Elektronik is a manufacturer and distributor of electronic components. Reynold Würth founded Würth Elektronik in 1971 as a division of Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG. After a detour into measuring device manufacturing, they specialized in the production of printed circuit boards for the electronics industry. They still make circuit boards, but now also make connectors, transformers, coils, chokes, and film capacitors. They also rebrand high quality Aluminum Electrolytic and Aluminum Polymer capacitors at an affordable price.
